RFK Jr and the Quest for a Healthier America
America is in the middle of a radical political realignment. Both the Democratic and Republican parties have changed in recent years and this reality was highlighted by the 2024 presidential election. Whatever your political leanings, if you care about holistic health, Trump’s victory will benefit you and your family because of the alliance he made with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
I have never seen a presidential campaign take on Big Food, Big Agriculture, and Big Pharma but that’s exactly what RFK did. When the Democrats sabotaged his campaign because they didn’t want his competition he did the unthinkable. RFK Jr. -Democrat royalty- decided to drop out of the race so that he could join Donald Trump’s campaign to Make America Healthy Again.
If you read this blog, then you already know about the toxins in our food, the obesity epidemic, and the chronic disease crisis and how it is completely preventable. Having someone in government who is passionate about these issues and can fight against the special interests that make it nearly impossible for us to avoid unhealthy food is priceless!
Guts Need Love is very excited to see Kennedy end the corruption and stop the poisoning of our food. The US allows toxins in our food supply that other countries have banned. These toxins and carcinogens have also made their way into our toiletries and cosmetics where they are absorbed into the bloodstream by the largest organ in our body: our skin. Our health crisis is costing us $4.5 trillion in healthcare, not to mention the human suffering and the medical corporations that are profiting from that suffering.
When companies are incentivized to keep us sick, there is something wrong with the system.
Trump has given RFK Jr the power to oversee America’s health agencies and three specific tasks: 1) clean up the corruption and conflicts of interest in the health agencies, 2) return those agencies to the gold standards of science and evidence-based medicine, and 3) make America healthy again by ending the chronic disease epidemic.
